An open-riser modern staircase with custom heavy-duty black powder-coated brackets and a wall-mounted natural hardwood handrail. It enhances light flow and visual space. The floating treads create the illusion of steps suspended in mid-air, while the substructure underneath maintains full structural integrity and code compliance. Each tread is fabricated from premium select-grade hardwood (available in white oak, maple, or walnut) with precision-machined hidden brackets that carry the load while keeping the clean, minimalist look. The wall-mounted handrail is available in matching hardwood or complementary metal finishes, installed at the height required by Ontario Building Code. This design eliminates visual clutter and works well for modern homes, lofts, and open-concept living areas where natural light matters. Installation requires careful coordination with framers and electricians, and typically takes 5–7 days.
